NautilX™
NautilX™ CTD/MLT System
Coiled tubing drilling has been used for over 25 years as a method of extending horizontal wellbores and creating additional laterals, the NautilX CT Drilling System integrates real-time downhole data with precise downhole control of the drilling assembly to provide optimum performance. This methodology allows monitoring and control of wellbore pressures with respect to formation pressures which affords greater success in underbalanced or managed pressure situations and results in less near wellbore damage during the drilling process. Based on extensive proven experience and the latest technology, the system is designed with a focus on coiled tubing drilling which allows fit-for-purpose components to deliver a superior service.
Why Choose NautilX™ for Coiled Tubing Drilling
Real-Time Control and Visibility
Live telemetry and directional feedback provide immediate response to downhole conditions alongside the Coiled Tubing surface data allowing a holistic view of the operations.
Reduced Wellbore Risk
Active toolface control minimizes the cycling effect on the coiled tubing while mitigating wellbore interaction.
Operational Efficiency
Rapid junction navigation reduces non-productive time and improves overall execution speed.
Compact, High-Performance Design
Optimized for deployment on TEC Coil in space-restricted and technically challenging wells.
Multilateral Junction Navigation
The NautilX™ Multilateral Junction Navigation tool is a smart bottom-hole assembly (BHA) deployed on TEC Coil, designed to deliver precise, reliable junction and lateral navigation in challenging wellbore environments. Developed and engineered in-house by Global Dynamics, NautilX™ integrates real-time telemetry, directional control, and application-driven engineering methodology to ensure accurate multilateral navigation.
NautilX™ enables operators to confidently navigate junctions and laterals by utilizing real-time data and active control, therefor reducing uncertainty, and improving overall operational efficiency.
Why Choose NautilX™ for MLT
Proven Junction Accuracy
Real-time azimuth versus measured depth ensures certainty of leg selection and junction entry.
Active Hydraulic Control
Directional control through the hydraulic knuckle joint allows precise steering in junctions.
Reduced Dependency on Formation Response
Engineer-driven navigation minimizes reliance on the open-hole formation behavior.
Consistent, Repeatable Results
Designed for reliable multilateral execution across a wide range of well geometries and conditions.
